Original vintage travel poster for Somerset Travel by Train published by British Railways featuring a painting by the British artist Jack Merriott (1901-1968) depicting horse riders walking on the scenic countryside fields and hills by the sea with the sun streaming down through the clouds, the text on a soft pink banner below with the British Railways Logo. Printed in Great Britain by Chromoworks. Horizontal. Large size. Good condition, restored tears and restored paper marks in margin, backed on linen.
