Original vintage travel advertising poster: To East Africa / Nach Ostafrika – Deutsche Afrika-Linien. Fantastic artwork depicting an elegant African lady wearing a traditional ringed necklace and earrings, standing in front of a baobab tree with the Kilimanjaro mountain visible in the distance, against a yellow sky background with stylised text below. Artwork by the German painter and graphic artist, Ottomar Anton (1895-1976). The Deutsche Afrika-Linien (German Africa Line) was established in 1890. Printed by Muhlmeister & Johler, Hamburg. Excellent condition.
