Original vintage drink advertising poster promoting the 250 Anniversaire de la Decouverte de la Mousse du Champagne par Dom Perignon Journees Nationales du Champagne 14 et 15 Aout 1932 Prix speciaux sur les vins de Champagne / 250 Anniversary of the discovery of Champagne fizz by Dom Perignon National Champagne Days 14 and 15 August 1932 Special prices on Champagne wines - featuring a black and white side illustration of the French Benedictine monk and pioneer of wine making techniques, Dom Pierre Perignon (1638-1715), with the black and red text in French within a red line border. Dom Perignon is located in the monastery that was previously home to Dom Pierre Perignon known as the Father of Champagne and who is often credited with inventing Champagne sparkling wine; the Dom Perignon champagne label was introduced in 1921 produced by the Moet et Chandon champagne house (founded 1743). Issued by Hotellerie et Restauration Francaises / French Hotel and Catering. Published by Draeger. Fair condition, foxing, creasing, staining, paper losses on edge.
