About the Item
Vintage poster illustrated by Mario Puppo in the fifties for advertising on skiing in the Italian mountains, the Santo Stefano D'Aveto.
Mario Puppo was an Italian graphic designer and illustrator. He was born in Levanto in 1905. In the 30s he illustrated a lot of touristic posters advertising for bath- and mountain resorts. He worked for big companies like Fiat and Barilla. Lot of his original posters are kept in the Civic Museum in Treviso.
