Original vintage book advertising poster for the German novel The Big Lump - The Satire of our Time / Spanihel Der Grosse Lump - Die Satire unserer Zeit written by Hermann Wagner and published by Paul List. Great artwork by the renowned graphic artist Jupp Wiertz (Joseph Lambert Wiertz, 1888-1939) featuring a man wearing a top hat with a black and white scarf and a black coat, smoking a cigarette and holding a large bank note, set against a yellow background with the text in stylized black and red letters below. Printed in Germany by Trencher & Co, Leipzig-Stott. Good condition, restored original folds, faint creases, backed on paper.
