Original vintage event advertising poster for Das Verkehrsflugzeug ein Vortrag mit Lichtbildern und 2 filmen / The Airliner a lecture with photographs and two films featuring a great design depicting a plane flying above the bold stylised lettering against a black background. The German aviation pioneer Franz Zeno Diemer (1889-1954) was an engineer and a flight officer in the Bavarian Lifeguard Regiment who set numerous flying records as an early BMW test pilot including the world altitude record of 6,750m (22,146ft) in 1919. Large size. Good condition, restored folds, restored tears, restored creasing, staining, backed on linen.
