Original vintage Asia travel poster promoting Banaras (also known as Varanasi or Kashi) in Uttar Pradesh north India featuring colourful bold stylised artwork depicting a temple and praying Buddha statue in the ancient spiritual city of Banaras with the riverside steps known as the ghats of the Ganges in yellow framing the right side leading down to the sacred Hindu River Ganges / Ganga showing men on a rowing boat in the foreground and two people standing on the embankment under the shade of a green tree with fish along the blue water framing the left side of the image, the title in red and grey lettering below. Good condition, minor paper loss on edges, browning on edges, creasing, restored tear.
