Original vintage ski and winter sport travel poster - Winter in Germany / Hiver en Allemagne - featuring a fun design by Hanns Lohrer (1912-1995) depicting people enjoying winter sports and skiing on a snowy ski slope in the shape of a smiling snowman on a pale blue background, including a person on a chair lift riding up through the image past a person relaxing in a striped deck chair to a mountain chalet building on the snowman's hand, a lady elegantly ice skating on its head, a skier skiing at speed down the piste, a cross country skier walking up on the side, two people taking a break with one sitting on the snow by their skis and poles, and a couple on a toboggan sledge below the diagonal title text. Printed in Germany. Good condition, restored tears, restored paper loss in top left corner, restored pinholes, staining, backed on linen.
