Original vintage soviet victory propaganda poster issued in 1945 at the end of world war two featuring a dynamic design by the notable cartoonist and bolshevist agitpop poster artist V Deni (Viktor Nikolaevich Denisov aka Viktor Deni; 1893-1946) of the communist leader of the soviet union Josef Stalin (1878-1953) in uniform in front of a bold red image of the Moscow kremlin flying a red flag of victory below the red star - Pobeda! - With the USSR hammer and sickle on it, the Russian slogan in red letters below: long live Generalissimos Stalin, the great leader and commander of the soviet people! Good condition, restored tears, folds and minor paper loss on margin, faint writing and pencil mark in top right of poster, light foxing, backed on linen.
