Vintage Litho on Card-Board of Dutch Cheese for Export, ca 1930's
About the Item
This vintage Lithograph was issued to promote the cheeses of the family Schipper in Westzaan, Holland. The cheese went for export, as on the lower border you can find the text 'Imp. R.Monnier, Bordeaux (France).
The paper on this strong cardboard has still the bright colours and is protected by metal corner pieces. Tow holes in the top for hanging purposes. Overall a few small scratches and wrinkles, especially on the outer borders, but overal a very representative presentation of this vintage board depicting an eagle or other similar predator carrying a cheese in its claws while flying over a landscape.
