Foldable Anatomical Wall Chart Depicting Human Musculature

About the Item

A rare 19th century anatomical wall chart depicting human musculature and internal organs. With removable multicolored human organs like lung, heart, liver, kidney etc. By folding of the multiple layers the structure of the organs is displayed very descriptive. On the sides with detailed description in German language. Printed on cardboard. Published by J. F. Schreiber, Germany circa 1900. Very good original condition, liver replaced by a replacement (handmade on cardboard). There are some old repairs on the back. Measures: Width 21.26" (54cm) Height 61.42" (156cm) Depth 0.79" (2cm) artfour is an owner-managed trading company dealing in Black Forest woodcarvings, antler furniture and an impressive variety of unique decorative items.
