Marcel Marceau Limited Edition Figurative Lithograph Hand Signed and Numbered

About the Item

This artwork is an original color lithograph on Arches paper by French artist Marcel (le Mime) Marceau, 1923-2007. His signature is signed in pencil on the bottom right, artwork is numbered. The print depicts a massive crowd standing about observing different various events or things. Look closely there are images of Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy, a ship sinking, towers burning in a city believed to be New York. This is a very interesting work with brilliant colors. Dimensions: 32" W × 1" D × 24" H Period: 1980s It was published by Lithoprint, in Paris, France. Good vintage condition consistent with age, materials and use.
