Framed pair of hand-colored ornithological lithograph prints of hummingbirds by John Gould (English 1804-1881). Myiabeillia Typica and Chlorostilbon Auriceps. Each beautifully colored with an iridescent plumage. Gould was famous for meticulously detailed hummingbird art which he used metallic pigments to make them appear iridescent.
