Don Dean Studio Walnut Wall Shelf with Drawers, circa 1960s

Studio wall shelf made of walnut with two drawers and rosewood pulls. Don Dean made this piece in 1962 while he was attending the School for American Craftsman at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. His professor was Tage Frid and this piece is very reminiscent of his style. He later gave this piece to his mother in 1966 as a gift and signed it.
