About the Item

Rare and truly stylish design cabinet with a purple velvet interior with brass hooks. This finest quality, early twentieth century, double door wall cabinet with its original glass panels is a work of art in its own right and it is in excellent condition. This good sized antique is entirely handcrafted out of solid oak and it has a patina to die for. It looks even better than in our photos. The combination of the unique Arts and Crafts design, the wonderful patina, the original glass panels and the purple velvet interior will definitely and positively change the look and feel of the space this cabinet is in. Thanks to its practical size and shape it can be used for all kinds of purposes, but at least one of the former owners must have used it to safekeep (and display) a number of medals or otherwise, because there are 4 brass hooks in the solid oak back panels on both levels. Thanks to its rare design, great patina and beautiful wooden patterns this antique will never fail to impress. With two strong metal hooks on the back, this cabinet is ready for easy wall mounting.
