19th century oil on canvas fruit still life, after David Teniers the Younger or David Teniers II (1610-1690) was a Flemish painter, printmaker, draughtsman, miniaturist painter, staffage painter, copyist and art curator. He was an extremely versatile artist known for his prolific output. Beautifully and deftly painted, in original period handmade gold leaf carved frame with original gilded wood fillet, signed 'D Teniers' lower right. Canvas size: 40" L x 1" D x 30" H Frame size: 48" L x 2.5" D x 37.5" H.
