Silk floss embroidery on cotton from India called a phulkari, embroidered in white and gold diagonal bands in a geometric design with green centers. Phulkari, translation "flower working", refers to traditional Punjabi headcovers or shawls carefully embroidered by women at home and shown off on special occasions.
