1993 wrecking ball installation Art Gallery sphere sculpture by Carter Kustera Carter was born in Canada in 1962. In the early 1990s, Carter began exhibiting his art sculptures in galleries. The Wrecking Ball was one of his early installations and features a polyester resin ball with miniature dimensional fiber homes colliding on the interior. Furniture and people can be seen spattered about. The demolition ball is connected to a heavy 9' steel chain that anchors to a ceiling with a cast iron support.
