Large Italian Decorative Painted Curved Hanging Shield
About the Item
Decorate a games room or a study with this colorful painted curved plaque. Crafted in southern Italy, circa 1950, the painted wall sculpture features a centre medallion decorated with a coat of arms with dot and chevron motifs and a crown atop it.
The shield is in good condition with a rubbed patinated paint finish in the light grey, and colored palette.
New hooks and wire in the back for easy installation.
There is another shield plaque listed that is by the same hand.
