Large Mid-Century Modern Styled Face Wall Hanging or Sculpture
About the Item
This fairly large and substantial wall sculpture is completely unsigned, but presumed to have been made in the United States in circa 1980. The sculpture is made of molded pottery or plaster and is quite heavy and glazed in gold with blue accents to resemble bronze or brass. The face is curiously looking slightly left and is expressionless with respect to the mouth and brow. A very decorative sculpture despite knowing very little of its origins.
