18th century oak sideboard restoration

We recently completed the restoration of this 18th-century sideboard for a local client. The sideboard was in a bad state when it came to us, hinges had failed, handles were missing and the interior was falling apart.

A huge transformation has taken place from the rough dark oak it was when it arrived in our studio, the oak now glows a lovely auburn brown and the new solid pewter handles really sing out against the grain.
