Capitol and Poole Shop

Founded in 1997 by Laura Vinroot Poole, Capitol features designs from Valentino, Marc Jacobs, Dries Van Noten, Saint Laurent, Celine, Gucci, Rosie Assoulin, and Valentino, along with jewelry and accessories by Marie-Helene de Taillac, Irene Neuwirth, and The Gem Palace. Housed in a 6,000 square foot, freestanding store designed by architect Perry Poole, the shop’s signature feature is a spacious courtyard featuring a vegetal wall created by famed French botanist Patrick Blanc.
