Family Home di Devas Designs a Ireland, IE
This beautiful eighteenth century fishing lodge on the west coast of Ireland is a handsome structure built in stone. It overlooks a sheltered Atlantic bay and a landscape that has inspired a generation of poets and artists. We worked with the owners who were inspired by the 2002 film The Hours and wanted a ‘Bloomsbury palette’. The drawing room colour scheme echoes the pink of the nineteenth century Ushak carpet, the study is a tranquil smoky green and the huge farmhouse kitchen has been done out in Farrow and Ball’s ‘Bone’ and ‘Blue Grey’. It is now an elegant house dedicated to the comfort and convenience of friends and family and embraces every activity.
