La Jolla Country Club Drive

The home was a spec house built in 1991 with less than desirable details and finishes and awkward proportions both on the exterior and interior of the residence. The initial goal with this project was to create a home with better flow, updated finishes, new windows and doors, as well as correct the awkward design features. And to do justice to the amazing location and possibilities for this La Jolla location. What started out as a simple “fixer upper” turned into a personalized design experience. The further the clients got involved in the finishes and details with IDI, the more they became interested in the cohesiveness of the entire project turning it into a beautiful Spanish Revival home.
