I've always been interested in the colors and forms that appear in the natural world, and lately I've been focusing my work around those patterns. When I collected and stacked the leftover wood, it reminded me of the natural layers of sedimentary rock. LAPIDUS GRAVIS is the first of a series of works that I hope to create inspired by the geologic world.
