Palisades

Two years were spent on the gut renovation of this traditional family home. Balancing formality with a casual California lifestyle, the vision was to provide a comfortable and livable interior for a growing family, but also one that had a timeless sophistication and elegance for entertaining. The plans for each space were designed to enjoy the panoramic views of the Santa Monica Mountains to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south. Classical architectural details transformed this home, capturing the natural light from each side. Color palettes were inspired by the surroundings, making each room unfold into the next. Each space is subtly layered, mixing textures, patterns, and finishes, as well as with a mix of English antiques and new pieces, giving the home a more youthful feel.
