Peoria Pagoda
Apartment di Rider for Life a Chicago, IL
The jumping off point for this project was the single piece of furniture that was accompanying the owners to their new home: an Asian sideboard that is a family heirloom. I The building itself bears resemblance to a traditional pagoda in a modern take, made of stacked tiers of concrete and glass with rooftop terraces spilling pops of greenery onto the facade. We used these elements to formulate a color and art swathed urban sanctuary for our London clients who strongly believe that no good home is without a heavy hand of wallpaper. Be still our hearts.
