About the Item

A spectacular Victorian Bangle Bracelet in 14 Karat Gold in a Buckle motif with a stunning central Salmon Coral cabochon with Seed Pearl and Bohemian Garnet accents. The Coral is a perfect pink salmon color. It is an oval cabochon of 17mm tall and 12mm wide and is surrounded by a halo of gorgeous pearls. The bracelet is further set with beautiful Bohemian Red Garnet Cabochons in collet settings on either side of the Coral. These raised collet set garnets are so special. The buckle portion of the bangle is adorned with a row of Seed Pearls with three additional Garnet cabochons. The bracelet opens to fit over the wrist and has a safety chain. This is one of the finest gem set antique Victorian bracelets we have seen. It has classic elegance with a contemporary sleekness and simplicity of style that is extraordinary. The Coral surrounded by the halo of Pearls is of the highest quality and of an impressive size. The Bohemian Garnet accents are an absolute treasure. The bracelet dates to the Victorian period circa 1850-1900. The bracelet fits beautifully on the wrist. The interior of the bracelet when closed is 6 3/4 inches around. The interior is 2 3/8 inches (60mm) wide by 2 1/8 inches (53mm) tall. The bracelet is 17mm tall. The coral cabochon is 17mm by 12mm. The central coral medallion is 22mm tall. The bracelet opens to fit over the wrist and has a safety chain. The bracelet is hallmarked 14K. The bracelet is in extraordinary condition for its age. There are a few very minor surface scratches near the tip of the buckle portion. These are almost impossible to see. The bracelet weighs 25.4 grams.
