The bands of clear, white and then clear again make this very chic chunky vintage lucite cuff bracelet from the 80's so wearable and fun! It is designed by a famous Californian artist named Judith Hendler who worked in plastic jewelry at the time. This will take a wrist that is 6.5" or 7" W. It is timeless and simple. The interior diameter of the cuff is 2.25". The opening at the back of the cuff is 1.5" W. Perfect for summer 2026, cruise, resort wear and warmer climates.

Judith Hendler
Judith Hendler was already a nationally known artist before she started making her unique lucite jewelry. Her paper sculptures were exhibited all over California and in New York City. Hendler, Los Angeles-born, began making jewelry from her husband's discarded acrylic extrusions left over from the manufacture of aircraft windshields and cockpit canopies. Hendler's jewelry distributed under the name Acri-Gems Inc., her brand was soon being sold at Bonwit Teller, Saks Fifth Avenue, Etc. Specifically noted was a piece worn by actresses Joan Collins on the Television series Dynasty in 1985.
