About the Item
A sapphire and diamond line bracelet by Yard, consisting of twenty four alternate set step-cut sapphires and twenty four old-European-cut diamonds both in groups of four, the sapphires estimated to weigh a total of 5 carats channel-set in platinum collets, the diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 3.6 carats, grain-set in platinum collets, with a concealed push clasp and safety catch, signed Yard Inc. bearing inventory number 7895, circa 1950, measuring approximately 18.5 x 0.4cm, gross weight 22.9 grams.
This bracelet is in very good condition. Wear consistent with age and use. Unmarked, tested as platinum.
A timeless and minimalist bracelet from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. Designed c. 1950 by famed jeweller Raymond Yard, this exquisite piece features a colour block of vivid blue sapphires and sparkling diamonds. Distinctively Mid-Century, this piece is striking enough to wear on its own but would also look brilliant layered with a tennis bracelet or a watch- or both, for extra sparkle.
