Art Deco Diamond and Onyx Bracelet, circa 1920s
About the Item
Featuring a collection of old cut diamonds and hand cut onyx pieces, this bracelet is unique and well made. The sparkling diamonds in the centre of each piece of Onyx have a combined weight of 0.40 carat, and the remainder of the diamonds weigh 5.90 carat. They are grain set throughout the piece, giving a strong and beautiful geometric feel to the piece. The onyx is a wonderful black colour with a surface shine, bringing life to the piece. The mille-grain edges are a sign of the period and the age of the piece, c.1920s, shows the excellent condition it has been kept in. The diamonds are estimated as F-G in colour and VS in clarity which is top quality. The piece also has a fitted box and is crafted from platinum.
