This contemporary triptyque brooch is part of the Bamboo collection and is made of 18 karat white gold. It can be worn in the Chinese calligraphy way with. It has been featured in Vogue, Elle, and Zoot magazines.
The Bamboo collection was designed by Polya Medvedeva, an ink calligraphist and oil painter based in Berlin. This unique contemporary jewelry design embodies the calligraphy principle of "line and spot" as the balance of "chaos and order." The artist designed the pieces to be easily worn together and later added gems such as diamonds, spinels, tanzanites, emeralds, rubies, and sapphires to the collection.
Bamboo is a plant that has deep symbolic meaning in many cultures, particularly in Asia. In Chinese culture, bamboo is a symbol of strength, resilience, and flexibility. It represents the ability to withstand adversity and continue to grow and thrive even in difficult circumstances. In Japanese culture, bamboo is associated with honesty, purity, and simplicity. Additionally, in Feng Shui, the ancient Chinese art of placement, bamboo is believed to bring good luck and positive energy to a space.

One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
