1930s Bone Bakelite Carved and Painted Lovebirds Brooch Pin

About

A heavily carved bone bakelite brooch depicts adorable love birds in silhouette beak to beak chirping poses. Surounded by flowers and naturalistic details, the pin has a by hand artisan painted detailing which adds much color and whimsy to the impact of this lovely themed brooch pin. Approximately 3" wide by 2" high, the brooch is chunky and substantive, and has its original pinback present and it functions perfectly. Excellent condition!
