1920s Art Deco 2.78 Carat Diamond, Platinum and 14K Gold Bar Pin
About the Item
This 1920s Art Deco Diamond, Platinum and 14K White Gold Pin features a total of 40 accent Old Mine cut diamonds and a large .38ct Old Mine center stone. The hand-cut diamonds look stunning after nearly 100 years. The style is symmetrical with milgrain borders around the outer and inner rims. The center stone is embedded in a four-prong frame with a milgrain bezel square around the stone. This diamond has a subtle yellow hue.
There are five more squares on each side of the center square with four Old Mine diamonds within each cube with a milgrain bezel border. There is a small gallery underneath the stones. The final edges of the elongated pin wrap downward to a 14k white gold frame. The top of the pin is platinum, the border foundation and clip are made of white gold, which has accumulated slight patina over the years.
The pin is 2.75 inches long and 6 mm wide.
