For sale a rare arrow brooch dated from the 19th century, the Victorian era. This brooch features a stunning yellowish-gray cat-eye chrysoberyl cabochon in the center: a precious phenomenon gemstone that displays a line in the center of the stone when exposed to light. The feature setting has an overlapping ribbon style design terminating to the horizontal bar with a natural pearl.
The lower terminal is embellished with a vertical arrangement incorporating an individually collet set 0.02ct Dutch cut diamond to the apex of millegrain decorated, collet set 0.62ct cabochon cut sapphire.
This exceptional example of antique sapphire jewellery secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.

The realistically modelled 15k yellow gold owl to the center of the bar has two collet set round cut emeralds to represent the eyes, and a sharp textured decoration.
The 9k rose gold bar secures to the reverse with a copper hinged pin and clasp fastening.
