About the Item

The pin is handcrafted from 18ct yellow gold with a blue gold lacquer finish. The blue gold is highly unusual. The back is as beautiful as the front, and displays hand bevelled edges as a sign of a well crafted piece of fine jewellery. Longest point of star: 4 cm widest point across the star: 1.5cm Total length of pin: 7cm The front of the star pin has been enamelled by hand and the shade of the enamel was carefully selected to match the exact midnight blue tone of the Rolls-Royce 'Dawn.' The stopper detaches and can be threaded onto scarves, knitwear, jackets or lapels. It has vulcanized rubber inside to hold the stem securely in place. This exquisite pin is a unique limited edition creation and was designed and crafted in collaboration with Rolls-Royce, to celebrate the launch of their special new car 'Dawn'. Ana was commissioned by Rolls-Royce to create pieces which reflected their founder, Charles Rolls', love of aviation and motor travel. With this in mind, Ana created a series of one-of-a kind pins using the concept that one was led by the stars, moon and the sun. The pins were then carefully handcrafted in London using the finest craftsmanship and materials. These are very special collectable item and with the connection to Rolls-Royce, will become antiques of the future. The concept behind the matching star pins is that you can either wear both the large and small star together to make a whole star or you can split the pair and gift one pin to a loved one.
