Antique 1.99 Carat Diamond and Platinum Bow Brooch Circa 1900

About the Item

A stunning, fine and impressive 1.99 carat diamond and platinum bow brooch; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond brooch has been crafted in platinum. The brooch has been realistically modelled in the form of a tied bow. The pierced decorated frame is embellished to the bow's knot with a feature pavé set 0.14ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond, flanked with four further supporting diamonds. The anterior and posterior of the bow loops are ornamented with a total of sixty-four diamonds, in a combination of transitional modern brilliant round and eight-cuts. The tail ends of the bow design are each accented with a further eighteen diamonds. This fine diamond brooch is fitted with a hinged pin and clip fastening to the reverse. This platinum and diamond bow brooch is supplied with one independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. The brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. Condition This impressive platinum bow brooch is excellent condition, set with a feature diamond displaying a fine white colour and brilliance. The supporting diamonds display a fine white color and brilliance. The brooch is in an excellent gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition. This large brooch has been modelled in the form of a three dimensional tied ribbon bow, ornamented with stunning diamonds totalling 21.04 carats. The loops and tails of the bow are embellished with articulating strands of one-hundred and sixty individually claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds. The ribbon's undulating three-dimensional edge is further ornamented with a paralleling border of ninety-eight channel set baguette cut diamonds. The slim knot is further embellished with nine baguette cut diamonds, channel set to a platinum sweeping design.
