A stunning, fine and impressive antique 3.11 carat diamond and synthetic ruby, 15 karat yellow gold, silver set brooch in the form of a winged insect; part of our antique jewellery collections. This stunning antique brooch has been crafted in 15k yellow gold with a silver setting. The antique brooch has been modelled in the form of a stylised winged insect. The thorax of the insect is ornamented with an old round cut synthetic* ruby, encircled with eleven diamonds in a combination of Old Dutch and Old round cut. The large striped abdomen of this stylised winged insect is defined with 15k yellow gold decorated borders and embellished further with Old Dutch and Old round cut diamonds, graduating in size depending on location. The paired, pierced decorated wings are embellished with curvilinear bands incorporating one hundred and eighty-seven diamonds. The head of this impressive insect brooch is embellished with an Old Dutch cut diamond, accented with two cabochon synthetic ruby representing the eyes. The insect has two bifurcating stylised antennae ornamented with old Dutch cut and round cut diamonds to the swept terminals. The legs of the insect are realistically modelled in 15k yellow gold. A fine and impressive antique 1930s 2.55 carat diamond and 18 karat white gold 'spray' brooch; part of our diverse diamond jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive antique diamond brooch has been crafted in 18k white gold. The diamond spray brooch displays three feature collet set Old European round cut diamonds; a 0.75ct, a 0.68ct and a 0.53ct. A further five collet set Old European round cut diamonds are set to terminal of the floral stems, among the feature diamonds. The marquise shaped ribbon style setting is embellished with four collet set Old European round cut diamonds. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin fastening. This diamond spray brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k gold. The brooch is supplied with three independent diamond grading certificates for the feature stones and an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting diamonds. A stunning, fine and impressive antique 3.19 carat natural emerald, 4.38 carat diamond and pearl brooch in 18 carat white gold; part of our diverse emerald jewelry/jewelry collection. This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond and emerald brooch has been crafted in 18k white gold. The tapering, organic influenced brooch setting displays a feature 3.19 carat step cut natural emerald, four claw set to the body, in addition to two 5mm cultured pearls. The curvilinear, wirework stranded setting is embellished with a total of thirty-one individually claw set diamonds totalling 4.38 carats, in a combination of Old European round and eight-cut. The centre features a simple white gold leaf motif, completing organic brooch design. This exceptional 1920's emerald brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and locking clasp. The antique brooch is hallmarked to the reverse of the setting with the 18ct fineness mark (18CT) and the maker's mark (C&F). The brooch is supplied with two independent diamond grading certificates for the two larger diamonds, in addition to the independent diamond grading report card.
