About the Item

A stunning 0.51 carat sapphire and 0.59 carat diamond , 18 carat yellow gold and platinum set bar brooch; part of our diverse Art Deco jewellery collections. This stunning, fine and impressive Art Deco sapphire and diamond brooch has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with a platinum setting. The platinum set bar is ornamented to the centre with a feature 0.51ct square fancy cut blue sapphire, collet set and millegrain decorated to the centre of a square shaped cluster design. The feature sapphire is surrounded by sixteen individually collet set eight-cut diamonds, displayed within the square shaped frame. The central cluster is flanked on either side by a graduated multi-stranded arrangement, each terminal accented with a further three pavé set eight-cut diamonds. The 18ct yellow gold, platinum set bar brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening, and is hallmarked to the side of the bar with the marks for 18ct gold and platinum (18CT PLAT). This antique Art Deco gemstone brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
