Antique French Seed Pearl and Diamond Yellow Gold Brooch

About the Item

An impressive antique French seed pearl and 0.25 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold brooch; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections. This fine and impressive antique pearl and diamond brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The brooch has a circular form, embellished with a crisp bright cut engraved floriated decoration surrounding a central feature Old European round cut diamond. The floral design is accented with nine pavé set diamond in a combination of Dutch and eight-cuts. The central circular frame is surrounded by a pierced and bead decorated frame displaying eighteen individually set 2mm seed pearls. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening. The clasp is hallmarked to the clasp with a lozenge shaped maker's mark (G anchor B) and French hallmark for 18k gold (eagle's head). This antique brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone. Condition This impressive antique French brooch is in quality set with seed pearls and very well colour matched, very high colour graded old cut diamonds. The brooch is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with clear French hallmarks to the clasp.
