Antique Maria Stuart Sardonyx Cameo Demi Parure Brooch Earrings
About the Item
Sardonyx cameo brooch and earrings with a profile bust of Maria Stuart. The attributes of Maria Stuart are consistent with renaissance fashion seen in period paintings of her. Fine carving dating from about 1870-1880. The demi parure has been worked in 18K gold. The needle of the brooch is made out of 9K gold, the ear studs are made out of 14K gold.
