About the Item

Antique Bow Brooch Platinum Circa 1920s This exquisite art deco brooch is designed in the shape of a bow and adorned with diamonds and a single sapphire. The sapphire is an old cushion cut weighing 1.00 carat, with a deep blue colour. The bow's framework is encrusted with old-cut diamonds totalling 3.40 carats. These diamonds are of excellent quality, with colour grades ranging from F to G and a clarity grade of VS. The gems are rub-over set in the intricate platinum framework of the bow. This piece was handcrafted in the 1920s and is a true testament to the craftsmanship of the era. The brooch measures approximately 70.9mm in width and 20mm in height. The brooch comes in its original velvet-lined fitted box. All of our items are either Antique, Vintage or Preloved. They are in used condition and may show some signs of age-related wear, light surface scratches or tarnish.
