About the Item

This impressive antique brooch or pendant was crafted during the Victorian ear in solid 14k yellow gold and features a large heart design that is set with a truly mesmerizing royal purple amethyst stone that is surrounded by 17 old mine cut diamonds throughout. These large old cut diamonds total approximately 5.30 carats and they add spectacular amounts of brilliance and fire and give the brooch its wonderful rich and antique character. The outer frame is also further adorned with fine black enamel work which is another authentic Victorian technique used in the jewelry from that period. This antique brooch secures with a pin and rotating closure for safe wear and also features a foldable bail allowing it to be worn as a pendant as well.
