About the Item

This magnificent antique locket brooch/pendant was crafted during the early Victorian era from solid 14k yellow gold with a platinum top. This large pendant features a round center embraced by an elegant laurel wreath design at the top, and is covered with the most gorgeous, high polished, blue enamel that brings such a beautiful and absolutely rich look to this piece. Incredible textured work on the gold underneath the enamel shows through for such a beautiful touch and is further framed with white enamel. A lovely leaf pattern design is perfectly set on top of the enamel and together with the laurel wreath at the top is drenched with fine quality old rose and mine cut diamonds, and are absolutely brilliant and fiery showing nonstop sparkle and bright effects that make a truly glamorous statement. The locket opens from the front to a round compartment that allows for safe keep of a special photo, securing with a tight snap closure.
