Antique Victorian Crescent Moon Star Brooch Circa 1890s 15ct Gold Hallmarks
About the Item
Presenting this Celestial themed brooch Circa 1890’s.
The piece features a crescent moon and star. The moon is set with 7 x seed pearls to allow the imagination to wonder off to the silvery side of the moon. The little star is set with green paste. The brooch is crafted in 15ct yellow gold and bears some hallmarks including the makers mark ‘W”. The pin and hinge are in good working order and secured by a C hook.
The brooch measures approximately 5cms long 1.5cms at the widest point. It is in very good antique condition.
