This has to be one of the largest Celtic Scottish brooches we have ever exhibited for sale.

This fabulous brooch has the original Scottish Hallmark too.

Dated Edinburgh 1881.

Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland.

From the mid 1800's Queen Victoria frequented Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral.

The large central Quartz is over 50ct in size and Set in a lovely Gold claw gallery that is beautifully decorated.

Smoky Quartz is a very protective and grounding stone, bringing physical and psychic protection.

It is also an excellent stone for protection from negative energy of any kind and transforms them to positive energy.

The brooch is Sterling Silver gilded in 18ct Yellow Gold.

Beautiful all round Scottish workmanship and lovely Celtic engraving.

Beautiful when worn and very eye catching.

Weighs 64.7 grams.

Measures 7.5cm across x 7.5cm down.

The central Quartz measures 3cm x 3cm.
