Antique White Enamel 18 Karat Gold Old European Cut Diamond Flower Pin Pendant
About the Item
Antique Art Nouveau 18k gold white enamel flower pin set with an Old European cut diamond, circa 1900. The bold white petals has green enamel details creating the realistic quality of the flower. There is a small gold stem at the bottom of the flower. The pin also has a bail that can be pulled up or down (hidden when not in use), so the pin can be worn on a chain as a pendant. The center diamond measures to about 1.10 carats, and is graded as an I to J color and VS clarity. The diamond has some small chips to the girdle. This flower is a typical style of the Art Nouveau period where realistic forms and and nature were imitated in jewelry. The flower is 1.50 inches wide and 1.25 inches long. There is a small chip to one of the petals.
