Art Deco 19.00 Carat Sapphire & Diamond Brooch, c.1920s

About the Item

This exquisite brooch hails from the Art Deco period. It's set with an impressive 19.00 carats of natural, unheated/untreated, transparent blue sapphires, which have been independently certified by the Gem & Pearl Laboratory. The star of this brooch is a spectacular 11.00 carat cushion cut sapphire, which is punctuated at each of its cardinal points by a 2.00 carat oval-shaped sapphire, bringing the total supporting weight to 8.00 carat. These stunning stones are then supported by 1.00 carat's worth of old cut diamonds, which are G in colour and VS in clarity, set at each cardinal point, and set within infinity motifs, which was handmade during the 1920s in mille-grain detailed platinum with a secure bar and hook fitting.
