Blue Sapphire and Old Mine Cut Diamond Platinum Bow Spray Brooch, circa 1930s
About the Item
This exceptional 1930's handmade brooch/ pendant features a cushion shaped blue sapphire weighing approximately 5.00ct in an open back, rub over setting, mounted in the centre of a bow. The ribbons are pavé set with 136 old mine cut diamonds and the spray is set with a 21 claw set old mine cut diamonds mounted on platinum stems. All diamonds are mounted in open back settings and come to a total approximate weight of 12.50ct. Tested platinum. Circa 1930's, England.
