Christian Dior Mitchel Maer 1951 Baroque Double Knot Bow Tie Swag Tear Drop Crystals 7 Seven Chain Strands Layers Brooch, Gold Plated
Mitchel Maer was a prominent American designer who lived in England during the 1950s. During this time, he created jewellery under his own name and also collaborated with Christian Dior from 1952 to 1956. His unique designs often incorporated elements of Victorian style.
Objects bearing the label 'Mitchel Maer' were created under his eponymous brand, while those designed for the fashion house were marked with 'CHRISTIAN DIOR BY MITCHEL MAER' on an oval plaque.
Very good condition, but still light scratches or colour loss. Still very good to wear. 100% genuine.
